MOROCCO

A “NEW” COPPER - SILVER - GOLD AND POLY-METALLIC FRONTIER

morocco & green metals

The New Frontier

In Morocco, Aterian is advancing a portfolio of 15 primarily copper and silver projects, covering 762 km2 with the Company holding a 100% interest.

These projects are targeting copper and silver, as well as base metals, that are experiencing growing demand globally from the drive towards electrification and from use in renewable energy production

THE KINGDOM OF MOROCCO

WHY MOROCCO?

  • Tier-1 Investment Destination : stable constitutional monarchy, with modern transport & power infrastructure.
  • 5 years tax exemption for foreign firms, subsidies for large investments.
  • Foreign firms benefit from free profit repatriation.
  • Favorable Mining Code with new mining legislation implemented in 2016.
  • Proven mineral wealth – phosphate, silver, gold, base metals & industrial minerals being mined.
  • Contains approximately 75% of the world’s known phosphate reserves, but is also prospective for precious and base metals, as well as minerals such as fluorspar, barite, cobalt and antimony.
  • Only c.35% of the country mapped, the country remains under-explored.
  • International exploration companies already active.
  • Copper (LME cash) : US$ 7,815 / t [Sept 2022].
  • Silver (Kitco) : US$ 19.12 / oz [Sept 2022].

Aterian Anti-Atlas Projects

AGDZ : our principal project

AGDZ Copper-Silver Project

  • The 34.4 km2 Agdz Project is located in the Neoproterozoic Sidi Flah-Bou Skour inlier, part of the  Saghro Massif, in the eastern Anti-Atlas Mountains.
  • Situated within an active mining district, located 14 km from operational Bou Skour Cu-Ag Mine (Managem).
  • At Agdz, high-grade Cu-Ag and Au mineralisation on 5 key prospects defined to date.
  • Rock sampling includes 448 g/t Ag, 26.50 % Cu and 3.74 g/t Au
  • Reconnaissance trenching : 9.3m @ 95 g/t Ag & 1.25 % Cu, and 14.1m @ 36.5 g/t Ag & 0.65 % Cu.
  • Strong structural control on Cu-Ag mineralisation, hydrothermal alteration packages up to 33 m wide in places.
  • EIA completed specifying baseline environmental conditions.

Agdz : Multiple targets identified

Agdz Main Prospects

Amzwaro Prospect:

Multiple zones up to 2 km long and 200 m wide, individual alteration zones up to 33 m in width. Results include rock chip grades of 4.82 % Cu,  189 g/t Ag and 1.91 g/t Au.

Miniere Prospect:

150 m x 90 m wide area over historic mining complex, exploiting multiple sub-parallel copper-bearing zones. Results include rock chip and spoil sample grades of 13.05 % Cu, 12.90 g/t Ag and 0.49 g/t Au. Hosts several U/G workings following sub-parallel alteration zones that returned rock chip samples of 13 % Cu, 6.0 % Cu & 5.0 % Cu.

Makarn Prospect:

Mineralised dykes, shears and veins over 2.8 km strike length with rock chip grades of 8.0 % Cu and 448 g/t Ag. New prospect at Makarn North with rock chip grades of 3.5 % Cu and 308 g/t Ag
