Aterian plc is pleased to announce the commencement of a soil geochemical programme in Botswana, marking a significant step forward in our copper exploration strategy. This programme aims to identify high-impact drill targets within the Kalahari Copperbelt, a region known for its potential in copper exploration.

We are strategically positioned in this promising geological terrain, holding licences with strong geological credentials. This fieldwork is designed to accelerate our pathway to value creation, leading us towards geophysics and subsequent drilling activities to build a robust pipeline of drill-ready targets. Our systematic approach and quality ground give us confidence in generating meaningful discovery potential and long-term shareholder value.

Moving forward, we plan to define priority target areas for follow-up work based on the results of the geochemical survey. This phased exploration approach is aimed at efficiently advancing the Project while managing capital allocation.
