Aterian PLC - Appointment of Strategic Advisor

Aterian Plc has appointed Arron Smyth as Strategic Advisor for Asset Transactions, effective immediately. With over 20 years of experience in natural resources and energy, Arron has a strong background in M&A, joint ventures, and commercial strategy, particularly across the EMEA region. He has previously consulted for Aterian in Rwanda and was instrumental in securing a recent trade finance facility.

In this newly created role, he will support the company in identifying and executing strategic opportunities such as joint ventures, acquisitions, and disposals. His appointment aligns with Aterian’s strategy to self-fund exploration through commercial transactions and to maximise shareholder value across its copper and lithium portfolio in Morocco, Botswana, and Rwanda.
